St. Francis Medical Mission will be having its mission trip in Costa Rica on November 1st thru the 9th, 2024. We’re planning to be in Talamanca, Limon Province, Costa Rica serving and providing medical services to indigenous people in the region. This is a remote Caribbean side of the country which borders Panama.
St Francis Medical Mission is inviting medical professionals MDs, DOs, FNPs, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Optometrists, Dentists and Register Nurses who are interested and would like to join us in this meaningful endeavor. The mission couldn’t be done without non-clinical support personnel, interpreters and volunteers.
The donation for this trip will be $1500.00 dollars per missionary. This will include international flights to and from the country, lodging, costs associated with food, transportation, fees, required or recommended travel insurance, day off sightseeing and all logistics. It does not cover: Vaccinations, spending money for souvenirs and personal purchases, any meals, lodging and transportation outside of the scheduled team mission. COVID related fees such as testing, vaccinations, and quarantines as required by in country arrival/departure or USA arrival/departure.
Our mission to Costa Rica promises to be a profound experience where we can make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. Whether you have joined us on previous missions or are considering joining for the first time, your participation is invaluable and greatly appreciated. Due to the location and accommodations, we will be having limited spaces available. We hope the construction project underway next door will provide additional spaces, but it is not guaranteed. Accommodations will be limited to 25 people. If you hear the calling to serve the Lord’s medical mission this year, please let us know as soon as possible to reserve your seat… seats fill up very quickly. Your contribution not only covers your expenses but also enables us to provide essential medical care and support to communities in Costa Rica who lack access to adequate healthcare.
This year we need to make a small adjustment… If you choose to make the donation using the St. Francis Medical Mission Website, we ask that you add a 3% fee for the transaction to ensure we receive the full donation amount. (Example: Donation $100 add $3 to be a total of $103 payment) We apologize for this inconvenience.

We are always looking for new medical professionals- MDs, Dentists, Optometrists, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, PAs, or FNPs who are interested in joining our group. If you know of anyone – please share this information with them and have them contact us. Non-medical professionals are also welcome.
